About the role:

As the land Contracting Manager in New Zealand, you are responsible for contracting products across New Zealand, including negotiating competitive accommodation, touring and attractions rates, commission levels, inventory, and exclusive offers for our year-round program and campaign activity.

What you’re accountable for:

• Maintain great partnerships with our suppliers across New Zealand
• Negotiate competitive rates, preferred commission levels, bonuses and exclusive offers for assigned product portfolios.
• Negotiate access to inventory to support growth opportunities for all divisions of the business.
• Negotiate compelling and competitive campaign offers.
• Negotiate dynamic rate opportunities with key supplier partners.
• Manage the workflow in your assigned destinations to ensure the product is delivered accurately and to deadlines.
• Create a strategy to identify and generate growth opportunities for the assigned product portfolio.
• Manage all day-to-day activities between Helloworld Travel, its customers, and the suppliers efficiently and effectively to meet service-level agreements and business objectives.

About you

• Proven contract negotiation experience and skills.
• Proven supplier management experience and skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions under pressure.
• Ability to influence outcomes and deliver results.
• High levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Tertiary qualifications in Travel, Tourism or Commerce would be highly regarded.
