HIND Management Looking for Maintenance Technician – Sudima Queenstown Five Mile at Queenstown, Otago Full Time

*This role is eligible for our 2022 Sign-on & Retention Bonus $1,500 ($500 upon 3 months and $1,000 on your 12 month anniversary).

The Role

We are seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a part time weekend cover role that will suit a talented multi skilled handy person who is not afraid utilise their skills and turn their hand to almost anything!

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in a similar role would be ideal
• Relevant trade experience is beneficial
• Able to follow a preventative maintenance schedule
• Can repair or resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Identify any problems that could escalate to become larger issues and notify the Duty Manager and Maintenance Specialist
• Carry out Maintenance repairs which could range from painting, general fixings, minor repairs – no two days are ever the same!
• Oversee all system, workshop and machinery while on shift and ensure they are maintained in a clean and safe condition
• To ensure the hotel van is well maintained and clean
• Ability to manage contractors on site including induction
• Excellent communication skills with all team members, contractors, guests and visitors
