Position: Data Entry

Location: Washington, D.C.

Experience: Experience working in fundraising/advancement/development office and experience using a donor management database (i.e. Ellucian Advance, Raiser Edge, Banner or similar) is required; Working knowledge of IRS regulations regarding charitable contributions and/or gift entry is highly desirable.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; High School Diploma or GED is required

Type: Full-time; Contract (About 6 months)

Job Description

As a Data Entry Professional, expectations are:

• Will assist the Office of Gift Registration with gift entry processes
• Create and maintain various Excel spreadsheets of gifts

Position Requirements

• Candidates should have excellent computer skills including working with Excel spreadsheets
• Position requires high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in

a very busy, fast-paced environment

• Experience in an advancement office in a complex higher education or a large cultural organization in which collaboration and multiple approvals are required is preferred.
