Hospo HR Looking for Head Chef | Waiheke Island | $110k at Waiheke Island, Auckland Full Time

We are recruiting a talented chef to run one of the 2 outlets at one of the top vineyard venues in Waiheke Island as their next Head Chef.

You will be supported by a team of 10 chefs and benefit from the support of chefs working at the other F&B outlet at the venue,
 

WAGE: Earn up to $110k/annum($38 to $40/hour + bonus)

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Minimum of 1-year experience as Head Chef in an upmarket venue
  OR 
  Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Head Chef at any 3*+ restaurant
  OR
  4 years’ experience as Sous Chef or higher role in an upmarket venue
• Previous experience managing a team of 6 or more chefs.
• Happy to work in a high-intensity restaurant working hands-on in the operation.
• Happy to stay in a shared accommodation by himself/herself.
• Confident that you can stay in a staff cabin until you find permanent accommodation in Waiheke Island.
• Previous experience in an upmarket venue or 4.5 (or higher) hotel restaurant
• Previous experience managing food costs and Food Control Plans
