Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, or Management Information Systems from an accredited institution. Will accept six years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum of two years experience working at a helpdesk or in an IT user support role.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Ability to travel up to 25%
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Basic software development, configuration and database understanding
Ability to write and interpret queries for both Oracle and SQL databases
Programming experience in C, C# and SQL.
Basic understanding of workflow processes within applications
Excellent analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset
Utilize available knowledge, tools, and resources to resolve customer issues
Proven track record/experience with large projects
Be able to work independently and with other teammates as projects require
Project management skills (preparing project schedules, performing tasks, meeting deadlines, escalating issues)
Change management skills (documenting requirements and functional design)
Ability to map processes and translate them into business system requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Capable in dealing with ever changing priorities and being able to multi-task
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
