HRV Looking for Warehouse Manager at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

About The Role

Reporting to our Supply Chain and Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the Onehunga based EDC warehouse. Ensuring efficient processes and systems are in place of receipt, storage, production, and dispatch of goods and continually identifying opportunities to enhance our processes to ensure productivity targets are met.

You will be a proven leader, with strong leadership skills who can swiftly take charge across the warehouse, developing the warehouse team through mentoring, coaching, and training. You will have a collaborative approach to ensure things get done quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining a safe work environment.

You will have exceptional communication skills, able to problem solving and can develop strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business internal and external.

We will provide you with training and support to be successful in your position and to continue your growth within the company. A typical day will include:

• Manage stock levels and inventory.
• Receipting of product shipments
• Undertaking regular stocktakes and providing updates on inventory levels
• Co-ordinate all inventory movements between sites, liaise with freight companies
• Ensure all systems and procedures are adhered to and quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure people are appropriately trained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensure thorough understanding of agreed outcomes.
• Continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve service provision.

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ experience in Warehouse Management and successfully leading small teams.
• Should have experience in in ERP/MRP systems and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Must have Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), Strong attention to detail and tertiary qualification in relevant field (preferred)
