We are currently seeking a highly experienced Solutions Analyst to join our government client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing a mechanism for data and attachments captured in online forms to be consumed by our legacy Java application.

Your main duties will include understanding existing architectures, eliciting and documenting high-level business requirements and technical constraints, collaborating with the team to identify and document solution options, and documenting the solution design and technical/functional specification for the recommended/accepted option.

To be considered for this role, you should possess at least 10 years of experience in the ICT industry, including broad awareness of contemporary ICT technologies and data integration strategies. You should also have a proven ability to design practical solutions that balance system performance, usability, cross-system dependencies, scalability, re-usability, overall cost to develop and maintain while meeting the defined business needs. Additionally, you should have experience with eliciting and documenting requirements, interpreting, and communicating technical information to non-technical audiences, and proposing and documenting system design/solution specifications.

The following skills are highly desirable:

• A degree majoring in Information Technology or related disciplines from a recognized tertiary institution
• Experience working with Java applications, Unix/Linux, online forms, and Web APIs
• Experience with previous data integration projects
• Experience working with government organizations.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with and receive feedback from other team members.
• Ability to prioritize and use time effectively to deliver to agreed timeframe.
