Description
Humana’s Corporate Communications team is looking for an Associate Communications Lead that will focus on Associate Experience and Wellbeing to join a growing organization, working remote anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
As the Associate Communications Lead, you will lead the communications strategy for key initiatives and programs that support Associate Journey initiatives, including Talent Acquisition and Development, Associate Wellbeing, Benefits and Compensation. You will be the trusted advisor with leaders and manage a team of approximately 2, that collaborates across business functions to develop compelling strategies and content that engage and inform internal audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Work in close collaboration with HR senior leaders to develop an overarching strategic communications plan that prioritizes support and alignment for transformative projects and enterprise-wide programs across the associate journey
Collaborate with HR partners in Well-being, compensation and benefits, recruiting, Associate Experience, Talent Management, and other areas to showcase Humana’s Employee Value Proposition and encourage participation in relevant programs
Leverage data and analytics to ensure communications help drive employee engagement and respond to evolving associate needs
Develop creative multimedia content and compelling storytelling packages that reinforce Humana’s brand, culture and customer-centric approach
Lead a team of communicators dedicated to enhancing the Humana Associate Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or related field
10+ years of employee communications, change management or public relations experience within a large, complex organization, with proven expertise in developing communications strategies that drive results
Advanced skills using O365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint
Passion for emerging technology and enthusiasm for engaging, interactive communications
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Adept at data and analytics
Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead and implement multimedia comms projects
Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and deliver quality work under pressure
Exceptional written communications skills and deep experience as a content creator
Proactive, flexible and always seeking improvement and positive change
Ability to use discretion and possess exceptional judgement
Foster an open, inclusive and diverse community at Humana
