Description

The Senior Infrastructure Architect works collaboratively with Infrastructure Teams to support development and ensure design meets resilience and recovery requirements in alignment with the enterprise architecture and ITDR direction and standards. The Senior Infrastructure Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Infrastructure Architect, Resilience & ITDR performs technical planning, architecture development, review and modification of specifications. Develops resilience & recovery specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings. Collaborates with Infrastructure Teams on HA design patterns, ensuring standards are documented and complied with. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 6 or more years of infrastructure experience

• 2 or more years of project leadership experience

• Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies.

• Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Technical Field

• PMP or PMI certification
