We are seeking a Pastry Cook/Baker to support our team of talented chefs. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who understands the basics of baking and is a strong team player with the desire to do whatever it takes to be successful. Candidates should also be passionate about working with sweets, and have a commitment to finishing tasks whether others are working alongside them or not. We have a basic dessert menu that changes with the seasons, that can be augmented or changed to include your ideas/input. We highly encourage creativity

Responsibilities:

Respond to customers’ requests for food items.
Create and display attractive desserts and other food items.
Work with management to determine pars.
Follow food safety standards, such as storing food at the right temperature and washing hands and surfaces often.
Keep the pastry area (a nice corner area with windows) clean and organized.
Working with our chef to order the items needed to complete the desserts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
