Salary: Senior midwife scale Grade 4 Step 1 ($98,848) to Step 3 ($108,610) MERAS

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and innovative professional who wishes to work with the senior midwifery team to lead and support our midwives and nurses to provide exceptional maternity care.
As one of our ACMMs, you will work across the unit to provide midwifery clinical leadership, foster good multidisciplinary relationships, positively contribute to our learning and improvement culture and be responsible for day to day management of the birthing suite and clinical leadership in the maternity ward areas.

Our unit is a friendly, busy secondary care maternity unit centred on the needs of women, their babies and whanau, working hard to deliver a seamless service with our Lead Maternity Carer colleagues and the community.
This is a permanent position, with options for part-time or full time rostered and rotating shifts along with on-call duties.

Skills and Experience
You must be registered with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC. Ideally you will have have worked in a similar role. If you have a passion for Midwifery and want to be part of an outcomes focused clinical service, which works in partnership with LMCs, we’d love to hear from you!
