About the opportunity 
You’ll be dealing with a wide and complex range of customers, understanding their business requirements, and providing a solution focused approach to their issues. This, above price will differentiate you from the rest of the competition and will help you and the wider team grow the business.

Your key focus will be to proactively generate new commercial, industrial, and project-based business whilst maintaining an existing customer base. Based predominantly across the North, West and City areas and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work together with them and the network team (branches, sales specialists, national accounts) to identify and target opportunities showing them how we are “above the game” in providing outstanding solutions and great customer service.

Sales experience and the ability to build relationships is a must – you’ll have operated successful and efficient call cycles, had account management exposure, and demonstrate the motivation to set yourself targets and challenges. Having technical electrical or trade knowledge would be a plus point but is not essential; what’s important is a “can-do” attitude where our ideal candidate will be able to show an abundance of “thinking outside the square” to make our customers happy!
