Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Regional Manager at IDEA Services plays a pivotal role in leading our Southland IDEA Services region. This position is responsible for overseeing operational performance, fostering a constructive performance culture, driving significant change initiatives, contributing to strategic development, and representing IDEA Services within the health sector and community. The Regional Manager provides leadership, direction, and support to the Regional Management Team (RMT), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services that meet the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
- Proven track record of achieving results through effective leadership and team management.
- Minimum of 5 years of senior-management experience in managing complex service-focused organisations, preferably within social service delivery or specialist services for individuals with complex needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work positively with individuals with intellectual disabilities and achieve defined outcomes.
- Strong networking skills with existing relationships/networks with relevant government and non-government agencies.
- Willingness to travel within the specified region and nationally as required to meet the needs of the role.
