The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
You will be reporting to the Team Coach in the Awhi Ora where you will be supporting people in their own homes and community. Support with shopping, relevant appointments such as GP, community activities, and supporting people to access recreational activities such as sports, walking and swimming.
This is a PART-TIME PERMANENT role based in Ellerslie, Auckland
Working 24 hours per week across Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
As a support worker in the Health and Wellbeing Team, you will have opportunities to support tangata whaiora and kaimahi across the region, plan and facilitate regional events, support our Housing and Recovery services with group activities and will manage a one-on-one caseload.

You | Mōu
- You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
- You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- An understanding and commitment to the principles of recovery.
- An understanding of the primary care sector.
- Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. Pathways offers significant support for support workers to complete this study.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
