Impac Exploration Services is hiring a Geosteerer for our remote steering operations. In addition to geosteering live wells, the role requires organization and attention to detail for post drill analysis, pre-drill planning, as well as best practice documentation and implementation. Effective communication with geologists, mudloggers, engineers, directional drillers and field personnel is essential.
Required Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree in geology or earth sciences
· StarSteer experience
· Minimum of 1 years geosteering and operations geology experience
· Ability to work a rotational schedule, nights, holidays, weekends, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience using advanced StarSteer workflows
· Experience geosteering in multiple lower 48 basins
· Mapping and field development
