ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

As the Property Management Assistant, you will be working alongside Property Managers and will be responsible for overseeing the administration of a portfolio. This role functions as a key member of the property management department, working with a team of five people. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable and hard-working, and has proven success in property administration. You will also enjoy executing a wide variety of tasks.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This role will report directly into the Property Manager, and your main duties will include:

• Handling tenant inquiries, feedback, or concerns
• Completing regular site inspections of properties including vacant units and building common areas.
• Maintaining lease documentation and pertinent information regarding leases and tenants.
• Working closely with onsite staff such as Building Managers.
• Reviewing accounts receivable and providing follow-up for tenants.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-5 year experience as a Property Management Assistant – Ideally experience with a Commercial portfolio.
• Experience with Yardi
• Proficient administrative skills & Bookkeeping experience
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Ecosystem)

COMPENSATION:

• $50,000 – $62,500 per annum (based on experience)
• 3 weeks vacation
• Health and Dental Benefits
