• Sharing and Understanding your business stakeholders’ objectives;
• Partnering with business leaders and colleagues to greatly improve business performance.
• This includes creating analytical solutions, dashboards, visualizations, ML models, and business tools for use across the organization.
• Turning business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Finding and understanding the correct data sources for a given analysis.
• Coding reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Python, Pandas, Numpy, SQL, and Tableau / Looker to help your stakeholders improve business performance, often diving deep to decipher why and how questions, and therefore determining what business action will drive the highest return on investment.

Who You Are

• Drive and ability to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about how indeed operates, and how to make indeed even more successful
• B.S. degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field
• 3+ years of Industry experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, and/or data science
• 3+ years of experience writing complex and optimized SQL queries; Experience in Snowflake; Redshift; GBQ or similar MPP desirable
• 3+ years of experience solving problems programmatically particularly using Pandas and Numpy
• Knowledge of machine learning methodologies. Practical experience in a commercial environment an advantage
• Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
• Experience using Tableau or other visualization platforms to create inviting, intuitive, insightful, and interactive dashboards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents
• Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
• Curiosity and passion about data, visualization and solving problems
• Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data
• Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and business assumption

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, long term incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
