The Industrial Technology Centre is looking for a CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN to join our growing team!

Core responsibilities and duties:

– Calibrate various dimensional, pressure, force, mass, and hardness measurement devices

– Maintain the internal equipment database of master standards

– Travel on-site to client facilities to perform calibration activities

– Assist in maintaining ITC’s ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditations

– Perform preventative maintenance of equipment

Education, experience, and skills:

– Completed a Technical College program, or Grade 12 with significant related experience

– Strong mechanical aptitude, including physical work as well as disassembly/investigation/reassembly of equipment

– Familiar with devices such as pressure gauges, load cells, calipers/micrometers, force machines, scales and balances, threads, Go/NoGo gauges

– Well organized, good time management skills, and ability to schedule internal and external recertifications up to 10 years into the future

– Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

– Strongly skilled in client relations, and communicating technical information

– Background or experience in a machine shop setting is considered an asset

– Ability to travel within Canada occasionally (6-10 times per year)

– Proficient with MS Office 365 (Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
