About us

Event Hire have been popping up at local events for over 9 years. Now based in Wigram, Christchurch, we are seeking an additional Event Lead and Warehouse Assistant to our dedicated team.

Specialising in Weddings, Marquees and Events around the South Island we pride ourselves on being a ‘one stop shop’ for customers and owning a great variety of stock from disco balls to light up planets, food trailers to carnival rides there is never a dull moment around here…

We work with amazing clients to create events such as the A&P Show, Hanmer Fete, Ronald McDonald Polo, Touch NZ Tournaments, the Hororata Highland Games and many many more!

With our own light show, Illuminate, now filling the Winter months we are able to offer consistent work all year round and look forward to meeting the right person to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• No experience required
• Physically able (lifting over 30kg)
• Forklift license a bonus (we can help you get this)
• Class 2 license a bonus (we can help you get this)
• First Aid Cert a bonus (we can help you get this)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles for Events
• General warehouse tidiness
• Setting up and packing down at Events
