JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Respiratory Care process of assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery towards the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum of an Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy, BS degree preferred. RRT credentialed preferred or CRT-RRT Eligible by meeting one of the requirements set by the NBRC
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
Active NJ License in Respiratory Care and Active NBRC RRT/CRT credentials required. Current BLS (American Heart Association) required. CRT/RRT Eligible must be registered (RRT) by the National board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 1 year of entering this position.
ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
