The Custom Structured ASIC Engineering Group within Intel Programmable Solutions Group is seeking a versatile and talented candidate to be part of Intel’s next generation Custom Structured ASIC Development Team.
In this position, you will play a critical role in making sure our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be part of a Design Verification Team validating our Structured ASIC CPU driven Configuration and Debug capabilities as well as the High-Speed Transceiver functionality. In this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to architect and develop new DV strategies improving the coverage and reducing the simulation runtimes. You will also actively collaborate across Design Engineering, Validation, Architecture and Firmware Teams to provide the most optimal solutions.
In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Develop and maintain Test Plans covering all Full Chip and Block level features; review the testcases with the Architecture and Design Teams
Architect and develop Block level Verification Environment scalable at Full Chip to improve reusability and reduce test development time at Full Chip
Work with Firmware Developers to create testcases targeting the critical functions of the Configuration CPU Subsystem
Develop specification and test plans based on hardware/firmware co-design targeting the Device Configuration capabilities
Develop a regression system to support automated run of all the implemented tests
Work with Firmware and Design Teams to qualify end-to-end Device Configuration flow
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science
Advanced knowledge of Chip Design and Verification Flow
Minimum 5 years of experience in Design and Verification
Knowledge of System Verilog, UVM and VMM Based Verification Environments
Good knowledge of one or more scripting languages like Python, TCL or PERL
Good problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities
Good communication skills and teamwork
Highly motivated self-starter, able to work in a collaborative environment with cross-organizational teams as well as independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Structured ASIC Development flow is a big plus
Experience developing FW Driven Testbenches to validate SOC features
Experience with Debug Interfaces (mainly JTAG) is considered a big plus
Familiarity with Control Revision Systems such as GIT or Perforce

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
