What is a typical work day?
Having an excellent sense of communication: Coordinating and managing business partners, allocating routes already optimized/distributed to drivers.
Being organized: Managing undelivered packages and warehouse returns and completing a daily report at the end of the shift. Participating in the development of procedures and working methods in collaboration with the Director of Operations and monitoring KPIs (Key performance indicator).
Being resourceful and autonomous: Real time monitoring of the deliveries made by business partners and, if necessary, intervening by finding solutions to meet the objectives of the company.
Knowing how to manage stress: Work in an environment where deadlines are very short and able to adapt very quickly to the needs of the business. Ability to make quick decisions and problem solving skills to ensure the smooth running of the Station/Delivery Center.
Being vigilant in ensuring the use of safe work methods and behaviours within your team.
Contribute to other responsibilities as required.
What do you need to be successful ?
Hold at least 2 years in an operations supervisory role, preferably in the transport industry.
Know the current occupational health and safety regulations in force.
Have general computer knowledge (Office365).
Have knowledge of current transport laws and regulations.
Be able to express yourself in English.

This is a full-time opportunity at 40 hours per week, located in the Vernon Delivery Center, starting at 06:00 a.m. from Wednesday to Sunday
