Position Objective
To efficiently load outbound shipments within setup guidelines, complete and in good condition. Maintain work area.

This position will carry little or no authority. All final decision are made by the dock Lead.
Duties & Responsibilities
Task and Duties
Load pallets according to the B / L / Pickup list assigned.
Unload and load shuttles according to issue tickets, pick list, etc.
Deliver pallets according to Inventory Issue Ticket.
Clean and maintain assigned work areas.
Inspect and maintain forklifts before every working day.
Pull shortages from pre-stock areas.
Assist with monthly / yearly physical inventories.
Rerun pallets for cancel shipments, over weight trucks, etc.
Any other duties assigned by Management.
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

Position Objective
To oversee the dock operations and all assignments for loaders current and next day activities. Coordinate with shipping office and dock to insure all shipments outbound or inbound are efficiently processed.

This position has authority to decide on outbound loads requiring loading modifications due to pallet sizes, weight, and / or number of pallets scheduled.

Assign docks to truck on plant site, log into daily schedule.
Assign pickup list to loaders for loading.
Monitor Load times in and out, truck scheduled apt times.
Proof all daily pickup list for any shortages.
Update shortage report, layer reports.
Coordinate loading / unloading shuttle trailers, dock assignments.
Inventory forklifts daily.
Process work orders as needed for repairs / maintenance on docks, forklifts, etc.
Clean and maintain assigned work areas.
Train new loaders.
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
