InterServ International Inc. Looking for Web Application Developer at Southfield, MI Full Time

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Web Application Developer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that will captivate users and set new industry standards. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to create seamless and scalable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop innovative and visually stunning web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences;
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fully functional applications;
• Participates in technical design reviews to validate, confirm and ensure requirements can be completed;
• Implement robust and efficient backend systems using modern web technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to industry best practices;
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables;
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Monitors the performance and stability of applications;
• Able to clearly communicate software functionality to end-users;
• Provides system maintenance and support responsibilities as needed;
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose new; ideas to enhance our products;
• Other related work as required or requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) preferred;
• 2+ years of experience in web application development, including frontend and backend technologies;
• Understanding and familiarity with object-oriented analysis & design, object-oriented programming, UML, design patterns, database design, web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA);
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js);
• Strong knowledge of server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks;
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git);
• Solid understanding of agile software development principles and best practices;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Competencies

Hands on experience with:

• Laravel or similar PHP framework;
• Vue.js, React or similar frontend framework;
• Developing RESTful services;
• Git;
• MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other relational databases;
• MongoDB, Redis, Apache Cassandra or other non-relational databases;
• Database design and development;
• Internet Information Services, Apache, etc.;
• Developing single page applications;
• Jira and Jira Service Management;
• Cloud technology such as Azure, AWS, etc.
