We are Invenergy.Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:Position OverviewThe Director, Quality and Process Improvement, O&M (Operations & Maintenance) is a new role within the organization tasked with building out our quality programs to take them to the next level. The role will help facilitate a continuous improvement process to streamline and document our current ad-hoc systems into a unified program. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of implementing a quality system or group within an existing organization.Responsibilities: *Evaluates operations from a strategic level to ensure that services meet quality, integrity, functionality of our external and internal customers’ needs. *Collaborates with operational engineering, asset management, and site teams to draft acceptable quality standards. *Develops and implements quality standard evaluation and auditing processes. *Conducts random inspections and quality control checks. *Manages process nonconformance investigations. *Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies. *Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: *Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff. *Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies. *Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry. *Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Strong supervisory and leadership skills. *Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. *Experience with ISO 9001, DFSS (Design For Six Sigma) Qualifications: *Bachelors degree *Eight to 10 years of related experience required with at least five years in quality management. *Self-starter, ambitious and comfortable working with and without direction *Strong communication and collaboration skills *Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills. *Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. *Knowledge of the energy industry and plus, but not required *Travel up to 50% BenefitsEligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, bonus, paid time off, etc.Invenergy believes inclusion drives innovationDiverse teams are better teams.
