J J Fraser Engineering Looking for Qualified Steel Welder / Fabricator at Lower Hutt, Wellington Full Time

We require Fabricators and Welders with an uncompromising attitude to quality to join our manufacturing team.

As a member of our production team, you will:

• Tig weld stainless steel and aluminium
• Mig weld aluminium
• Be responsible for manufacturing product in an efficient and professional manner
• Ensure machinery and work areas are maintained to our internal standards
• Display commitment to Fraser Engineering’s quality procedures
• Work on different types of fire appliances and/or parts for local and international firefighting agencies 
• Adhere to Fraser Engineering’s health and safety system
• Grow and work with our team to deliver the most innovative fire appliances in the world

Training will be provided if required.

Skills & Experience

To join our team, you will need:

• Experience with stainless steel and/or aluminium fabrication
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for manufacturing with an uncompromising demand for change and success
• To show commitment to our company values of integrity, teamwork, and excellence
