Jet Distribution Hiring for Dispatcher/Customer Service at Teterboro, NJ Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Experience with all Import/Export container activity a must

-Dispatch and route trucks according to their pickups and deliveries

-Manage all drayage activity including container pickup and return

-Maintains Operations log of all active containers, pickup and deliveries.

-Performs customer service, traffic, routing, but not limited to:

-Maintains excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning container receiving, in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.

-Collaborates with team members in support of process improvements, avoiding service failures, and cost reductions.

-Responds promptly and consistently to changing customer needs and circumstances.

-Communicates daily with team members and management about operations support procedures.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

-Must have a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent

-2 or more years of operations support / customer service experience in a 3rd Party Logistics warehouse

-Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
