What Would a Typical Day Look Like?

• You will review drawings and gather all required raw material to assemble the product as per the specified drawing.
• Ensuring we produce high quality products is of the utmost importance to us. In this role you will help us achieve this goal by performing quality checks on the raw material gathered before use.
• Learning from our experienced assemblers, you will assemble product according to drawing specifications. Once assembled, you will learn how to tag the product as per the drawing specifications.
• You will have the chance to participate in the testing of the assembled product to ensure it matches drawing specifications before it is delivered to the customer.
• You will help us get the product safely to the customer by assisting with packaging and shipping the final product.
• You will complete administrative duties related to quality information and the recording and tracking of the time spent for each job.

What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience assembling mechanical products required. Millwright experience would be a definite asset.
• Ability to read AutoCAD/blueprint drawings and understand fraction and decimal measurements is required.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines
• Must supply own CSA approved safety boots and provide own basic tools – wrench/socket set, hammer, screwdrivers, square and hex keys
• Given the client-focused nature of the work, employees may be required to work over weekends or outside of standard business hours as needed and travel throughout Canada.
• Forklift and First Aid Certifications are considered an asset
• Welding experience is considered an asset.
