The JUDGE ROTENBERG CENTER (JRC) is a day and residential school located in Canton, Massachusetts licensed to serve ages five through adult. Since 1971, JRC has provided very effective education and treatment to both emotionally disturbed students with conduct, behavior, emotional, and/or psychiatric problems, as well as those with intellectual disabilities or on the autism spectrum.Direct Care Position(s):We currently seek direct care workers for entry level and supervisory positions! The direct care, entry-level positions are responsible for a variety of duties relating to and primarily concerned with implementing the studentsi treatment and educational programs. Direct care individuals provide the basic staff coverage necessary for the maintenance of the school, residential, and workshop programs (various locations). This position affords a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience with and knowledge of the current methods for treating the problems of autistic-like adolescents/adults and young adults with behavioral disorders. It is an hourly non-exempt position. Hours of work are assigned on a weekly basis and can be comprised of any day or shift necessary to assure adequate staffing, including weekends, nights, and holidays.This Direct Care position leads to many advancement opportunities within JRC.
