An exciting opportunity is now available to join our family in the role of General Manager – Sales.

We have experienced significant business growth and change over the past 18 months, and it is once again time to take things to the next level, with an absolute focus on taking our Sales performance to an industry-leading ranking. To assist in achieving this, we are on the hunt for a dynamic, energetic, and collaborative leader to join the Keith Andrews family.

Reporting to the CEO, You will be a highly motivated, influential leader to join an already top performing New Zealand company. You will manage and develop our relationships with our North Island dealerships to obtain maximum sales and market share whilst building strong relationships within the New Zealand trucking industry.

You will have prior senior or executive management experience, with a track record of successful sales leadership experience. As a result of your understanding, knowledge, expertise, and industry network, you will be confident supporting team members and engaging with customers.

Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to establish market segmentation, identify opportunities for sales and aftersales business growth.
  • Develop a rolling 12-month action plan. Sales and Aftersales must have the correct resource matching to be able to meet customers’ demands and expectations.
  • Develop and lead Keith Andrews sales and customer experience strategy, working in consultation with the executive to drive market share.
  • Coach and mentor, all Sales team, and leaders to create a high-performing team delivering all aspects of a professional market delivery.
  • Structure a plan to establish and proactively engage with New Zealand’s top fleet companies, existing and conquest..
  • Contribute to company performance through the development of revenue growth strategies, key targets, and milestones for network.
  • Grow domestic sales by fostering relationships with dealerships through personal visits and maintaining regular contact.
  • Increasing sales by securing new accounts in target markets and collaborating with current partners
  • Contributing and building brand awareness through effective networking, attending industry events, hosting opportunities, conferences etc.
  • Stock management through short term forecasts, pipeline management and reporting on aging stock.

To be considered for this role, you must have franchise or sales leadership experience, management experience, proven ability to strategically drive company growth and experience in the automotive industry. You must possess analytical skills, excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate an understanding of financials (profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow, sales analysis)
