Kforce Hiring for Application Software Engineer 3 – Test Automation at Saint Louis, Missouri Full Time

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Application Software Engineer 3 – Test Automation.Responsibilities:

• In this role, the Application Software Engineer will convert existing testing scripts into Tosca DI including parameterization, optimization, and reporting

• Collaborate with QCOE department and establish best practices which will require auditing as more team members utilize the tool

• Train other team members on Tosca DI and as ensure proper utilization of the tool

• The Application Software Engineer will collaborate with team to identify all possible use cases for Tosca DI tool and perform an evaluation for each

• Properly estimate and complete assigned testing within 2 week sprints

• Identify and track key lead/lag measures pertaining to automation for the team

• Track and report number of tests (manual vs automated) for agile assignments

• Track number of defects identified, along with root cause for agile assignments

• Complete internal items such as timesheets and trainings within a timely manner

• As an Application Software Engineer, you will create and track yearly development goals

• Bachelor’s degree (IT)

• History in test automation and leading large-scale automation efforts (Tosca experience preferred)

• Strong analytical background and knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Expert level SQL skills and the ability to write/optimize complex queries

• Cloud exposure and experience (AWS preferred)

• Experience working in agile teams with CI/CD pipelines for code deployment/testing

• Ability to perform simple automations through scripting utilizing a programming language such as python
