Kids Inc are expanding and we are currently recruiting for a Part-time Afterschool’s Coordinator based in Cork to join our team of Co-Ordinator’s nationwide.

At Kids Inc we offer a professional ‘Out of School Hours’ Service to primary school children.

Our afterschool and sports programme is built on having fun and play ensuring that the atmosphere is different to that in a classroom. Our aim is to extend children’s daily learning by involving them in a range of creative and sport programmes that will positively stimulate them physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in coordinating and liaising with individual team members and would like to be part of the expanding KIDS INC network.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with staff and parents via email, over the phone and in person
• Some elements of recruitment support (interviews, staff files, document follow up etc)
• Management of staff (roster checks, supervision & probation meetings etc)
• HR training support
• Payroll and account support
• General office administration
• Interact with relevant childcare agencies as required
• Development of Educational & care plans for pupils with additional needs
• Researching and implementation of resources for afterschool’s
• Business Development- growing the Kids Inc brand

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Meet deadlines and respond to staff/parents in a timely and professional manner
• Experience of the childcare sector or as an SNA is essential
• A strategic mind-set
• Solutions driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent report writing skills
• Availability to work full time hours
• A full clean drivers license and own transport is essential
• Flexibility to visit centres

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: €21,000.00-€24,000.00 per year
