Knowsley Borough Council Hiring for Education / Schools Sufficiency Information Officer Job at Knowsley, England , UK Full Time

The successful Applicant will act as the Council’s specialist key officer for all school-based projections with senior managers in the Local Authority, including Heads of Service, the Corporate Management Team, and the Department for Education.

You will be expected to provide support to the Pupil Place Steering Group and the Pupil Place Capacity Review process to identify appropriate sufficiency to meet future short and long term education service demands. Liaising with schools to keep net capacity assessments up to date and working closely with the Knowsley Admissions Service to plan for school sufficiency.

You must have:

• Previous Experience of working with schools and education support services.
• Experience of producing and monitoring high level data to inform school organisation planning.
• Experience of working with DfE and other central government departments.
• Have the ability to gather and analyse written and numerical information and present it clearly.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to analyse and evaluate information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and present to diverse audiences.
• Effective negotiation skills and experience of negotiations with a variety of stakeholders.
• A Degree or Equivalent is essential, and a Management Qualification is desirable.
