Knowsley Borough Council Hiring for Seasonal Recycling Officer at Huyton L36 Full Time
Knowsley Council is committed to improving people’s lives through the delivery of a first class, value for money, Waste Management Service.
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, flexible, and committed, Seasonal Recycling officer.
The role will include collection and emptying of waste and recycling containers, removal of bulky household waste items and engagement with members of the public to secure high levels of recycling and customer satisfaction.
Preferably you will have experience of providing waste and recycling collection services, operating bin lift and compaction equipment on a refuse collection vehicle and responding to customers in a helpful, informative, and courteous manner.
The job requires significant amounts of walking, lifting, and manoeuvring of waste collection receptacles and an ability to meet high production levels whilst remaining fully compliant with health and safety requirements.
