Kono NZ Looking for Kaiwhakahaere Huarākau, Pipfruit and Kiwifruit Manager at Motueka, Tasman Full Time

We are looking to the future and building a team with a focus on whenua ora and operational excellence to help us achieve our intergenerational goals. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Kaiwhakahaere Huarākau (Pipfruit and Kiwifruit Manager) to join us in leading our orchard team.

As Kaiwhakahaere Huarākau you will manage day-to-day orchard operation. This leadership role in our Kono Horticulture team is responsible for:

• Effectively planning, leading, developing and managing our operational team and resources
• Leading the quality and compliance functions
• Optimising production and ensuring industry best practice is maintained
• Developing and growing existing industry relationships

We are looking for someone who can lead, grow and develop a diverse team and can deliver results. Our team of permanent, RSE whānau and seasonal kaimahi are central to our business so their wellbeing, health, safety and development drives our success.
