Calling All Butchers/Seafood Cutters: We are in search of a Fish Cutter/Sushi Prep for our location in Troy, MI! If you are a fast-paced worker, self-motivated, good at following directions, and a team player – we want to meet you!

Up to: $20.00 per hour

Open Availability Preferred – Must have AM availability

*Fish Cutting or Sushi Prep experience preferred*

Overview
At Kura Sushi, our Fish Cutters/Prep Cooks take pride in ensuring our guests are provided the freshest, tastiest food using the unique Kura System. They are responsible for accurately and efficiently cutting, preparing and portioning all fish and other menu items in accordance with Kura’s recipes and procedures. No prior sushi experience is needed, but a can-do, positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately prepare food orders through the Kura System
• Prepare high-quality dishes that align with Kura standards
• Handle and cut fish
• Maintain clean and organized prep stations
• Stand for long periods of time
• Lift items up to 30 lbs

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities
• Excellent and collaborative communication skills
• Accountable in upholding high standards
• Open availability and flexibility is a must
