Landscape Solutions Looking for Garden Maintenance and Horticulturalists at Mount Wellington, Auckland Full Time

Working in our open spaces teams we are looking for new team members to help keep our parks and green spaces presented at their best.

Our teams look after all of the bush lines, garden beds, annual plantings and green areas. We have roles available within our teams for a range of experience. If you are a qualified horticulturalist, experienced gardener, have done property clean up, general labouring or are keen and fit and looking for a rewarding job where you can work outside – get in touch.

This role can help you progress into other areas of Landscape Maintenance or Horticultural work. We will support the right candidates to achieve formal horticultural qualifications on the job, as well as upskilling you with any industry based certificates or tickets that you need.

What you will be doing?

• Operating an array of small plant, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers etc
• Gardening duties, preparing and presenting quality workmanship for the public to view. This will range from preparing areas for planting, planting, maintaining existing plantings and garden renovations.
• Manual handling involving physically moving and removing vegetation and debris.
• Weed spraying

We are looking for Individuals who:

• Enjoy working outdoors
• Good physical fitness.
• Restricted or Full 1 NZ drivers licence
• Are keen to learn, previous experience is desirable but not essential.
