Duties
- Providing a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Communicating with parents and providing updates on children’s progress.
- Providing basic care for children which includes feeding, grooming, and changing diapers.
- Developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
- Encouraging positive behavior
- Planning and implementing weekly lesson plans
- logging daily activities including diapering, feedings, naps, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Trainings required:
- CPR/First aid Certified
- Must undergo a background check/fingerprint screening
- Abusive head trauma & SIDS training
- Intro to Childcare and skills and strategies book courses
- Health report
Coming with the above trainings and certifications is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
