What we’re looking for
We are looking for a motivated manager to join our dedicated Team to lead our engagement work with postgraduates. We work with students to enable them to make change in their academic life and to love their time at Leeds. There are exciting opportunities to enhance the student experience and build connections with communities. This is a replacement post to continue and develop our engagement with postgraduate students and researchers.
You will have proven leadership experience and an understanding of the specific needs of postgraduates within the diversity of the HE sector. The ideal candidate will have a huge amount of initiative, be able to solve problems independently, and have a creative and innovative mindset. You will be skilled in relationship management, working with senior colleagues and institution-wide networks. You will have a track record of leading projects and managing a team to deliver meaningful change for students.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the largest and highest rated Students’ Union in the country, as a leader in our academic engagement team. Managing your own projects, you will deputise for the head of department and oversee our work with postgraduate students and researchers.
