Responsibilities & Duties:

• Logging/Maintaining training records
• Documentation
• Completing safety audits UG

Knowledge/ Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of Health and safety principles, practices, and legislation
• 1-2 years in a H&S role – Preferably in a Mining environment
• Experience Underground (UG Common Core)
• Organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills
• Strong administrative skills
• Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and professional.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working towards NCSO designation

PPE Requirements:

• Metatarsal boots
• Hi-Viz Class 3 Coveralls (Or Shirt and Pant)
• Hard Hat, Safety glasses/gloves
• Half- Mask fit test + Respirator
