Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Learning & Development, the Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating content such as e-learning, documents, infographics, and presentations to support the learning needs of the organization. The Instructional Designer will work closely with other members of the training team to provide guidance from a learning science perspective in the development of training programs. The Instructional Designer must be proficient in a software suite for creating e-learning and proficient in the Microsoft Suite.

Our ideal candidate will be a driven individual with high attention to detail and organization, and a positive “can-do” attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create e-learning content to support the learning needs of the organization.
• Work with the frontline trainers to guide the development of training content based on learning science and instructional design models.
• Create and assist in the creation of training materials such as workbooks, presentations, infographics, and training documents.

Job Qualifications:

• Superior skills working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required.
• High degree of fluency and experience with an e-learning creation tool such as but not limited to, Articulate Storyline.
• High degree of organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• The ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A high degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training certifications are a plus.
• A desire for a career in Training is a must.
