Liberty Healthcare seeks a Forensic Psychiatrist for an available full-time position within the Forensic Division of the G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

The responsibilities of this position primarily involve providing evaluation and treatment to an assigned caseload of adult forensic patients in a secure inpatient setting.

The G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital is a Joint Commission Accredited inpatient psychiatric facility which is operated by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. The Hospital’s Forensic Division operates in a freestanding secure facility and serves adults who have been referred by jails and criminal courts from throughout South Carolina.

The Hospital is situated in Columbia – South Carolina’s Capital City. Centrally located in the State, Columbia is convenient to many wonderful destinations. Charlotte is only 90 minutes north – and Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and the upstate region are within three hours driving distance. Columbia is rated by Kiplinger’s among the top mid-size cities in the United States.
