Role Summary:

The Talent & Engagement team lead the performance, development, and progression of over 800 people and play a key influential role in the overall success of the Brand. As Talent Acquisition Partner you are a key asset in ensuring that the Talent & Engagement team deliver exceptional results through provision of best-in-class talent to facilitate the execution of our business strategy in line with our core brand values.

Role Responsibilities:

Recruitment

• Responsible for the execution of the LSS resourcing plan ensuring business capability is maintained, and delivery of business objectives are achieved through timely and suitable appointment of talent
• Partner with our leadership teams to identify, attract and hire the best candidates for the brand
• Consistently grow the candidate pipeline, filling it with high calibre candidates through multiple sourcing channels
• Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates using job boards, social networks, associations, universities, formal/informal networks etc.
• Undertake market mapping projects and update knowledge of market, as well as industry trends
• Assist in compiling reports, make recommendations on continuous improvement efforts, track effectiveness of sourcing methods
• Devise innovative ways of sourcing talent
• Ensure the brand’s commitment to D&I is reflected in candidate selection processes and outcomes
• Work with hiring managers to prepare for and facilitate interviews and feedback provision – act as a trusted advisor and guide on ways of working and recruitment guidelines, and provide expertise where required
• Support Talent Director to set recruitment KPIs, report on these regularly and recommend initiatives to address any issues.

Employer Branding

• Ensure LSS is positively represented on key talent attraction social media platforms such as LinkedIn & Indeed among others
• Design employer branding strategies and initiatives to support provision of a diverse candidate pipeline
• Manage the candidate experience through the recruitment lifecycle to a high standard of customer excellence.

Succession Planning

• Work with hiring managers to support the design of succession planning strategies and processes to ensure healthy internal progression pipeline
• Identify key talent and support leadership teams in preparation of development plans to support progression and retention.

Talent & Engagement Partner

• Build approachable and engaging relationships with stores and Brand Centre (support office) colleagues to ensure there is open communication with the Talent & Engagement team
• Act as a point of contact to provide strategic and tactical recruitment advice and guidance to members of our team
• As a brand values ambassador actively engage with teams to influence, drive and shape the culture
• Work with your (T&E) team to measure engagement levels and devise innovative ways to motivate teams to retain top talent
• Alongside your (T&E) team, design recognition and reward strategies to incentivise talented teams

Technical Criteria:

• Third level qualification in HR or a business-related discipline
• Multiyear experience in Recruitment role either agency or in house
• Experience of working in a variety of sectors including retail
• Highly proficient using Microsoft Office programs
