Lightning Bay Pneu-Draulics, LLC Hiring for Procurement Buyer at Tampa, FL Full Time

The Procurement Buyer/Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the raw materials, components, and services to facilitate Lightning Bay Pneudraulics services and products to our customers. You will work with suppliers to negotiate deals on everything from steel to screws to software development.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors and contractors who provide ongoing support services like maintenance or repair work. Help coordinate logistics efforts between different departments within our company.

Procurement Buyer Job Duties

• Negotiating prices with vendors to obtain the best price for products or services
• Researching market trends to determine the best time to purchase certain items
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure all purchases meet the company’s needs
• Determining which vendors are most qualified to meet the company’s needs for products or services
• Monitoring inventory levels of supplies and ordering additional stock as needed
• Reviewing bids from prospective suppliers to ensure that they comply with company standards
• Developing a purchasing plan based on the company’s strategic goals
• Reviewing proposals from vendors and selecting those who will receive contracts
• Coordinating with Vice President to draft contracts with suppliers
• Manage Inventory Manager/Tool Room Clerk

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
