The Role at a Glance:
Our Enterprise Delivery team is growing and we are looking to hire an Enterprise Agile Coach immediately. This is a great opportunity to make an impact across multiple IT Teams, working from home!
Background Details:
You will be responsible helping to scale agile across our Enterprise and will coach multiple teams in Agile principles and practices within the context of software application development projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Agile coach that will provide expertise around team liftoffs, scaling agile with respect to agile release train (e.g. ARTs) creation, portfolio intake alignment as well as supporting IT and business stakeholders on their agile journey. We are looking for an individual that can work at all levels of an organization to help them use agile as a strategic asset for business value generation which often includes impactful culture change.
What you’ll be doing:
Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in the agile space for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborate with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
Establish new Agile teams and ARTs and provides interactive initial and ongoing coaching as required
Work with teams, ARTs and stakeholders at all levels to drive enhanced effectiveness in their use of Agile Practices
Assess the Agile Maturity of teams, ARTs and supporting unit/Line of Business and its stakeholders and coach to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable.
Develops and facilitates classroom/workshop training for professional levels through management on Agile frameworks, competencies, and methodologies.
Conduct ongoing evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of Agile programs and recommends complex and/or highly comprehensive training modifications as necessary.
Coach teams, ARTs and stakeholders on how to remove complex roadblocks and impediments to change and delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert to instill a culture of measurement with respect to both the impact of the change to the business and the effectiveness of the system of delivery.
Drive teams’ continuous improvement through teaching in transparency, balance, flow, respect, customer focus, collaboration, and agreement.
Proactively collaborate and communicate with internal/external stakeholders to address Agile knowledge gaps to support Agile effectiveness.
Direct and enhances organizational agile initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across teams, ARTs, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves:
3+ years of Agile Coaching experience helping teams and stakeholders at all levels in an organization efficiently deliver software in an enterprise.
Experience must also include 5 – 7 Years as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
Proven track record of scaling agile
4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) in IT or business-related field
Nice-to-haves:
SAFe and/or SPC Certification strongly preferred
Finance or Insurance Industry experience
