Lionheart Children’s Academy Hiring for Benefits Coordinator at Remote Full Time

Lionheart Benefits Coordinator will support Employees and Benefit operations for Lionheart and Skylark through training, one-on-one support, administration, and implementation. Accurate Benefit setup and processing on payroll are critical.
Benefits Coordinator Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct contact for employees to help with benefits questions.
• Help employees navigate the complicated ins and outs of our multiple benefit offerings and tiers; especially our Christian Bill Share Program, Christian Healthcare Ministries.
• Negotiate payment terms, provide loans and follow up for reimbursement; facilitate leveraging the bill share system on behalf of employees.
• Run Yearly Open enrollment.
• Monthly New Hire Benefits; setting up new employees.
• Maintain relationship with benefit vendors and insurance administrators.
• Review and Crosscheck of multiple monthly invoices.
• Stay up to date with state and federal mandates.
• ACA tracking and compliance.
• Process Yearly ACA Forms.
• Excellent communication with Payroll Leads to maintain proper benefits information on Payroll.
• Maintains and protects payroll and benefit operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Participate in team meetings / activities.
• Administer employee HRA and Retirement Plans.
• Create and update benefit resources provided to employees.
• Help administer Leaves of absence including FMLA.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Background, Experience and Education:

• At least 18 years of age and high school diploma or GED certificate required
• Previous experience with Christian Bill Share program administration and implementation
• Experience with Christian Healthcare Ministries is a must
• Experience in customer service preferred
• Experience in a remote work environment preferred

Pay: $37,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
