Litigation Management, Inc. Hiring for Invoice Specialist at Remote Full Time
Litigation Management is looking for an Invoice Specialist to assist our Record Acquisition department.
POSITION CONTRIBUTION: The provider invoice specialist position contributes to the record collection process by ensuring that invoices for records requested and all related issues are processed accurately and on a timely basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functional/Technical Responsibilities:
- Review invoices received for collection of records to determine if the payment should be made in accordance with procedures and project parameters.
- Follow project fee limits to ensure client expectations are met.
- Access copy service portals to pay invoices via credit card.
- Contact providers directly to pay an invoice by credit card and obtain confirmation/receipt of the transaction.
- Update the proprietary system with notes regarding payment transactions.
- Forward invoices requiring in depth investigation by a senior staff member for review and approval of payment.
- Forward invoices related to radiology requests and pathology requests to Health Information Support for review and approval of payment.
- Review various reconciliation reports as needed.
- Act as primary contact for copy service invoice resolution.
- Perform other RA-related tasks as assigned.
