Over the next three years, our goal is to transform the 268BN analogue phone calls between a brand and its consumers to digital on the LiveEngage platform. By doing this, we enable consumers to get back time and experience a more connected relationship with the brand in which sales, service, marketing, branches, stores, and contact centre’s become a unified experience.
We are looking for a savvy Software Engineer to help us build and maintain our team’s analytics-based web applications. You’ll be working on a range of services designed to deliver our brands with insights and analytics, from consumer intent-driven analytics to conversational cloud performance optimization.
The ideal candidate will be a front-end engineer with an eye for detail, who is passionate about delighting consumers with an amazing user experience. They should also have experience developing backend APIs and services and enjoy designing and implementing end-to-end systems.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a nimble, highly impactful team and help drive the adoption of Conversational AI and messaging among the world’s largest brands including retailers, telcos, banks, airlines and more – it’s impressive!
What are the responsibilities of this role:
- Take part in the creation and evolution of innovative web-based applications and services
- Full-stack development: design, develop, build and deploy scalable and robust features.
- Analysis of functional requirements & creation of software design.
- Be responsible and drive the adoption of new and exciting features.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of micro-service architecture
Who you are and what makes you qualified:
- Extensive software development experience & working experience in NodeJS.
- Exceptional coding skills in JavaScript (TypeScript experience preferential)
- Working with, designing, and implementing, highly scalable RESTful APIs
- Angular or equivalent front-end framework experience
- NodeJS and Express app development (NestJS experience preferential)
- Passionate about front-end development and outstanding UI/UX design and implementation.
- Experience in distributed systems architecture and technologies.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Passion for full-stack development, from coding through building, automating, monitoring and deploying in variety of technologies.
- Strong CS fundamentals when it comes to basic algorithms and architecture.
- Experience with SQL, Cassandra and Elastic databases.
- Experience with CI, configuration management and containerization solutions.
