The Clinical Education and Standards department has moved to brand new specialist education facilities, located at Dockside and Brentford, and the Education Centre Manager will have a significant role in leading the future of education and developing the clinical workforce to support the people of London.

The successful candidate will be someone who has experience in providing leadership, direction and compassionate support with strong communication and organisation skills. You will know how to lead and motivate a team, finding innovative solutions when faced with challenges, while remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment. Responsibility for providing clear, effective, day to day management and leadership for the delivery of education and development to Ambulance Operations.

Work closely with the management team to influence and advance clinical education.

Responsibility for managing the Education Centre and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the formal education and training activities.

Line manage, support and mentor the teaching staff, and provide management and leadership to centre staff and learners.

Monitor all tutor and trainer development activities and contribute to development of education and development courses.

Actively promote best clinical practice within the Service, and maintain clinical operational expertise.
