Kerastase and Shu Uemura art of hair are one of the leading haircare brands within the luxury market. We have a care – first philosophy and work with the best hairdressers to provide all women ultimate solutions to care for their hair. Our main key point of difference are our in salon services and unique technologies within the haircare ranges. We thrive to ensure our stylists are well educated to be able to offer the very best advice to their clients.
We have a strong team of education executives who work to upskill and inspire our hairdressers through off line and online education. Our salons will always remain at the heart of everything we do.
You Will
Reporting to the Content & l Education Manager, you will:
Be a self motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for the beauty industry and an energy to inspire others
Be a talented hairdresser and a self-motivated team player – who has enjoyed previous experience of delivering Education expertise within a salon or beauty environment
Will have an appreciation for superior service and will reflect the values of a superior brand in this arena.
Be organized and well prepared to deliver quality education both online and offline to our salon partners
Have an entrepreneurial spirit to drive education within your region
Have innovative new ideas to bring to the table to continue to drive the future of education
Have exceptional confidence and be good at building relationships with clients
Understand the values of luxury haircare and how to portray a luxury brand
Hold a full driving license
You Are
Able to set yourself demanding goals and are focused on quality as well as attention to detail
Driven and want to define your own role, and constantly look for ways to exceed your objectives
Self motivated and keen to be involved in new projects
You try to keep up to the minute with current trends, commercial and brand awareness.
You feel that you have an aptitude for our profession through a true sensitivity to our products & our market
Passionate about haircare/ skin care you understand the importance of aesthetic quality and detail
Understanding of the importance of social media and create user generated content for regular posting.
Focused and achieve targets / objectives set.
Experienced and confidence in delivering Education Workshops, Presentations and Classes
NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
Exceptional in confidence and strong communication skills with all levels
Experienced in Microsoft Office Packages, namely PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Enthusiastic in manner and an ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and develop people
Able to work in an ever changing & demanding environment
A great communicator, able to give and receive feedback with positive attitude, always approachable and keeps communication flow at all levels
Able to work independently, take an active role within a team and be able to lead a team to stride for excellence and achieve results.
Passionate about self-development, always pushing to learn and understand the next development in the digital arena to introduce new technology, apps, programmes and ways of working, as well as sharing to upskill Kerastase and Shu Uemura team
An individual who is a consistent and a well organised planner, that can be reactive and when required can adapt and expand plans as a result of feedback and result sharing.
